MetaStock works with drag&drop. For example you choose
an indicator from the indicator-list and simply drag&drop it into the
chart window. In the upper toolbar on the right you can see the different
modules integrated in MetaStock, we will explain in the following steps.

In MetaStock you will find several line studies: the image
shows some samples. You can drag&drop these simply into your chart window.
|

MetaStock contains these shown chart types. A feature in version 9.1 is
the point&figure toolbox: for the first time you can use the full functionality
of all modules for point&figure charts.

|
|

The Expert Advisor shows trade signals via alert window plus
sound (optional). MetaStock contains several "experts", and you
can create your own systems, which will display your signals.

|
|

The System Tester will check the success of your trading
strategy and analyses it by statistic. MetaStock contains several trading
strategies, and you can create your own strategies. In case you are not
sure about the parameters of your functions, you can let MetaStock work
for you using optimization variables.

After strategy testing, MetaStock shows the result in an
overview window. You can view the different trades in a schedule as well
as in a chart. |

You can see the success and solidity of your trading strategy
in your capital course.
|
|
|
|

Another module is the Explorer. It filters your securities
for certain conditions. You get a quick overview in interesting values.

The Downloader can be a helpful module: you can edit your
data (sort, delete, merge or convert, as shown in the image). MetaStock
provides 7 data formats for import and export of data. |
